Fact - "...an identifiable state of affairs, or a statement which can be verified according to an established standard of evaluation."

Factotum - "...a general servant or a person having many diverse activities or responsibilities."

Totem - "...any entity which watches over or assists a group of people..."

FactotEm - A completely made up word representing a presence that exists only in the Wikipedia community and which has no affiliation or association with the .com, .org, .net or indeed any other entity which also chooses to use the same manufactured word to represent itself. 18:16, 28 May 2007 (UTC)


Source review checklist

  1. Check for unsourced statements (at least one cite at the end of every para, infobox parameters all sourced in article, lead text supported by main body, maps etc in images are sourced)
  2. Technical checks for formatting (inline refs are consistent, p/pp, ISBN format, publisher locations, etc.);
  3. External link checks (including checking that Gbooks (if used)/ISBN/OCLC/etc. links lead to the correct editions. If Gbooks links are provided, ensure that they refer to the same editions as the ISBN links.);
  4. Verification that sources are both high quality and reliable;
  5. Survey of sources to ensure comprehensiveness;
  6. Spotcheck verification of sources for accuracy and plagiarism (if first nom - check)
