Flying Donut is a web-based Collaboration software/ Scrum Software made by Flying Donut P.C..

Flying Donut uses the Scrum framework for managing projects. Projects contain iterations (sprints), cards, and tasks. The cards are moved from the backlog to an iteration (via drag-and-drop) when planned. Cards contain tasks that are moved in the task board (via drag-and-drop) from to do, to in progress, to done.

Features[edit]

Flying Donut backlog cards accept comments, attachments, and task. The project is broken down into iterations (sprints) with title, description, start date, and end date. Each project has a unique backlog. The backlog can be broken down into backlog buckets for easier classification of the backlog cards.

The projects are classified into public and private projects. Public projects are viewable by anyone. All public projects are free.

Its website has been designed to be accessible in most mobile web browsers.

Release[edit]

Flying Donut was launched on May 17, 2013. [1] and presented to the public at the Open Coffee Patras VII event on October 4, 2013 [2]

Architecture[edit]

Flying Donut is built on top of MongoDB, Java, Backbone.js and Bootstrap.
