Greeting[edit]

Hello. I had lots of pretty userboxes but my HTML coding failed me, so regrettably I had to delete them all. I think some nasty bots came through and changed them into something else. The userboxes said a lot about me, but the Categories at the bottom still say the rest.

My edits[edit]

I am learning my way in editing Wikipedia. My areas of interest at present include Australian places of interest and people groups, football (including Adelaide United FC and the Socceroos (the Australian national team)) and matters gaining national or international media attention.

Feel free to use my talk page to give tips or query any edits I have done.

My plans[edit]

I am enjoying editing areas of Wikipedia as I come across them, or learn more about them in IRL and desire to expand their Wiki definitions. I have no plans to join or create a Wikiproject.

I recently usurped "Wanderer" which has always been my preferred name, rather than "War-hammer". I would not like to be considered an Odinist with the revival of that pagan religion, but in any event I have known the name Wanderer more often than War-hammer.

Usurpation: Wanderer[edit]

I now feel complete, having foregone my warlike ways of the past. For they called me War-hammer for making war against those who would speak against truth and justice. Now however I choose the life of the Wanderer, usurping the title of he who had abandoned it. I am available to those who call upon me, but my choice to join or leave whatever cause is my own. I have chosen the way of the nomad, to enjoy and savour for as long as I like those things upon which I might encounter.

To those who think that changing my password will somehow strengthen your case to usurp my username, you're wrong. Catch the next train, bucko, this one's full.

Tip of the Day[edit]

Section edit button

At the top of each section of an article (if it has sections, that is), located on the far right of the screen, is an [edit] button. The button is offset slightly above the section, and sometimes new users get confused and think it belongs to the section above it. When you click on the edit button, the edit window opens up, displaying the source text from the section immediately below the edit button. Please use these whenever you can. You can set your preferences to have the section headers themselves to act like the [edit] links.
