Introduction[edit]

As a lifelong gamer, my efforts on Wikipedia are largely devoted towards video games, with an emphasis on creating new, high-quality articles on obscure/quirky yet notable subjects that most people would not pick up on, such as little-known indie titles, niche games, game characters, levels and items. However, I do go outside the gaming sphere from time to time.

I also engage in behind the scenes activities such as suggesting page moves, discussing redirects, categorizing things, etc.

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
I've always done Wikipedia in spurts (and this time is probably no exception) but I've felt like sticking around longer because you have been such a helpful presence throughout. You've given me extremely helpful constructive feedback on my article work, engaged with me in deletion debates, and kept me engaged on challenging myself in Wikipedia in a way I've never felt before. Thank you for being such a diligent member of our video game community here and for helping this returning Wikipedian hand feel welcomed. Nomader (talk) 05:39, 18 April 2023 (UTC)

Successful DYKs[edit]

Articles improved to GA status[edit]

This list only includes articles that were largely or entirely written (or re-written) by me and brought to GA status.

Article title Date Article subject Additional notes
Tharsis 2 March 2020 Indie game about surviving a space debris impact during a human mission to Mars. Seems totally random at first glance, but isn't. Created from scratch.
The Silent Cartographer 2 November 2020 Halo level set in a facsimile of the Pacific Northwest coast. Known for its incredible beauty and numerous deadly Covenant aliens. Created from scratch.
Tetris DS 29 July 2021 Portable Tetris game themed after classic Nintendo franchises. Considered one of the best versions of Tetris ever, and a main reason to never sell your Nintendo DS.
Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars 8 December 2021 Portable compilation of Crazy Taxi racing games for PSP. Notable for being the sole way to play Crazy Taxi 2 without a Dreamcast.
Ravenholm 25 February 2022 Creepy fictional town infested by alien zombies in Half-Life 2. Notorious for being scary, really well-designed, and being home to Father Grigori. Rewritten from scratch.
Kat 27 February 2023 Peppy Gravity Rush superheroine whose cat is full of stars and can shift gravity. Lauded by critics for her optimism compared to most protagonists. Created from scratch.
2B 20 March 2023 Beautiful Nier gynoid with extreme combat prowess and little emotion (at least, she claims). Destroys evil Machines (when she isn't helping them go grocery shopping). Created from scratch.
Mr. X 10 April 2023 Trench coat-wearing B.O.W. who will never stop chasing you, no matter what. Was given a hat in Resident Evil 2 remake, the ultimate upgrade. Created from scratch.
Merchant 30 May 2023 Iconic, creepy Resident Evil 4 arms dealer who may or may not be a zombie. Has enough free time to build a working shooting range inside the villain's evil castle. Created from scratch. Other half completed by Kung Fu Man & GlatorNator.
Machines 23 August 2023 Nier: Automata subversion of the idea of killer robots. It turns out that creating sentient AI just to kill things simply causes them to have a massive existential crisis. Created from scratch.
Warbits 5 March 2024 Unofficial spiritual successor to Advance Wars that captures some of the lost Nintendo magic. Also a rare example of a "game within a game". Created from scratch. Partially assisted by Dcdiehardfan.
