Thanks for uploading File:DALLILOGO.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Please do not place or replace any non-free images to any pages except for actual articles, such as you did at Template:European Union Organs. While such placement may be considered fair use as you indicated, it is expressly prohibited by point 9 of the policy concerning the use of non-free images. Continuing to do so can be viewed as disruptive behaviour and you may be blocked from editing. VernoWhitney (talk) 22:33, 24 September 2012 (UTC)
- I changed the copyright tag into {{PD-textlogo}}, because this image of simple geometry is ineligible for copyright and therefore in the public domain. As an official image from the European Union, this logo should be free content anyway. So now it is able to be used in the template. — Allrounder (talk) 14:14, 25 September 2012 (UTC) PS: Maybe {{PD-shape}} would be better - idk.
- Thanks for the heads up, I didn't have the image on my watchlist. I've started a conversation at WP:MCQ#File:EIB logo.svg to seek some additional opinions regarding it's copyright status. VernoWhitney (talk) 17:30, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
