Baseball Uniforms[edit]

Yup! I usually do them during Spring Training. By then, everything has been released, confirmed, and a good chunk of it shows up in game use. --The Silent Wind of Doom (talk) 10:05, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have completed the 2017 uniforms and uploaded them. They're all up. No problem, and no annoyance. I just have to wait until I'm sure of everything that's going to happen.
As for the US uniforms, well... http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/109216-mlb-changes-2017/?do=findComment&comment=2732173 --The Silent Wind of Doom (talk) 15:56, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Blues Uniform[edit]

Oh, hey! You're the same guy that asked the above question. I uploaded the original uniforms years ago. It was during the Canadiens' 100th season, so... 2009. I haven't touched them since then. Non-free image use of File:USA Hockey.svg[edit]

As I pointed out in my edit sums, this file's non-free use was previously discussed at Wikipedia:Non-free content review/Archive 67#File:USA Hockey.svg and a consensus was established that this file's non-free use does not comply with relevant policy in the individual team articles. Non-free content use is not automatic and each use of a non-free file is required to satisfy all ten of the non-free content use criteria listed in WP:NFCCP. As explained in WP:NOBODYCOMPLAINED, it matters not how long a non-free file is being used in an article, but only whether that particular use is deemed to comply with relevant policy. The fact someone subsequently re-added the file to the article because they were either (1) unaware of the previous discussion, (2) unaware of relevant Wikipedia policy, or (3) simply decided to ignore (1) or (2) does not nulify the previous consensus. This file has been repeatedly added by IPs and has been repeatedly removed like here by Wikipedia administrator Explicit and will keep being removed until a new consensus to use it is established.

A consensus can change over time, so if you disagree with the existing one or would like clarification of it, then it you should discuss things with the person who closed the NFCR discussion per WP:CLOSECHALLENGE, or you can ask for other opinions at WT:NFC to see if a new consensus can be established. That is the proper way to go about things. What you shouldn't do is keep reinserting the file and ignoring the existing consensus because that is going to be seen as edit warring and will lead to an adminstrator being asked to intervene, which in turn will probably lead to the IP being blocked from editing. You should also be aware that removing non-free files being inappropriately used from article is a "right" so to speak per WP:NFCCE because it is the responsibility of those wanting to use the file in the accordance with relevant policy. You should also be aware that WP:OTHERIMAGE and WP:CONTENTAGE are never considered acceptable justifications for non-free use. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:23, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/ANTbook365, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Replaceable fair use File:USA national junior hockey team uiform.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:USA national junior hockey team uiform.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:27, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi ANTbook365! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Jake Paul that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
