Image:Triple bond 1.PNG has been listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file you uploaded, Image:Triple bond 1.PNG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

June 24th?[edit]

Andrew, regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=June_24&diff=next&oldid=21901580, can you clarify why you deleted the EB link on the June_24th page? Why is a link to the BBC "this day in history" page acceptable, but a link to the EB one unacceptable? Who's interest is conflicted? - 216.146.93.139 19:13, 6 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for cleanup[edit]

Andrew, thanks for cleaning up my talk page. I actually had contacted an administrator for help doing that. . . you have done marvelously!

While you are at it, would you mind archiving my talk page in the way I've had it done in the past (see the top of the page) so that only messages from August 1, 2005 and forward remain? I'd be much in your debt! You'd be helping someone who has just a bit of trouble understanding directions. . . I'm very literal minded. Tell your teachers thanks as well for helping a fellow educator. --avnative 20:36, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

Super job! Thanks again. --avnative 20:50, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

Thank you for reverting the vandalism to my user page. Jkelly 23:21, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for contributing to Girl![edit]

An Award
For your contributions to the CotW focusing on Girl in September, 2005, I, Mamawrites, award you, Andrew pmk, this THANK YOU.

Andrew pmk,
Do you think that you could review the AfD page and change your comments? It's not a vote, it's a discussion, and unregistered users are welcome to add to the discussion, however input without rational may be discounted regardless of its source.

Missed![edit]

You probably meant to put this on his talk page. --fvw* 01:34, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ugly, rude double tag on my talk page![edit]

You placed the following notice on my talk page. Why do you need TWO (count 'em 2) headers to make your point?
Note, as I've said in several places before, that any image I upload, unless otherwise noted, is mine.
Also note that you need to sign your comments with FOUR (count 'em, 4) tildes (~). Pollinator 05:18, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Quote below:

You forgot a copyright tag[edit]

 +
 +
+ Thanks for uploading Image:Oatka_milk_8933.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag, so its copyright status is therefore unclear. Please add a tag to let us know its copyright status. (If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under
+ the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know on the image description page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Otherwise, see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged imaged will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much.

Re: reverting[edit]

Andrew, user that Zora and I reverted, is well-known POV pusher. Has been pushing POV all day today under different IPs. Still thanks for the warning, --a.n.o.n.y.m t 23:18, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also I never called that vandalism, I called it POV pushing. See you later, a.n.o.n.y.m t 23:20, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Andrew, the controversy re Aisha's age-at-marriage is covered in extreme detail in Aisha. Allowing an anon vandal to use an extremely emotional and value-laden term in the main article, and relegating any response to the break-out article, is POV and not even-handed. Anonymous editor and I would be responding differently to an editor who was bringing up NEW material and protesting censorship. I'm dead set against censorship, but I also don't like Karl-Rove-like mudslinging. Zora 23:35, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Intresting Ayyavazhi Family[edit]

Hai Andrew, there are intresting articles about Ayyavazhi, a new religion on both mythology and religiosity. Wikipedia is rich with this topic in English, but poor in other languages. Since french is a leading language in Wikipedia it is better to translate the contents on this AYYAVAZHI family to french. - Paul Raj

Transportation-related vandalism[edit]

I must disagree with your comment on WP:VIP on User:SPUI's behaviour on recent AfDs not being vandalism. He has a habit of disruptive outbursts in transportation-related debates when consensus is against him. "Avoidance Vandalism" on Wikipedia:Vandalism fits completely. Also see [1]. People did leave comments on the talk page before, to no effect. Pilatus 13:33, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

fluorescent black[edit]

I noticed that the article on the rock band Fluorescent Black is up for deletion, and I am wondering why. It is clearly written, and conforms with all the rules that you set for new articles. It is in no way advertising a business, or anything else for that matter. Please reconsider this article, as it concerns legitimate information. Thank you.

(Re: Speakeasy Comics) Ignorant deletionist[edit]

Re: Your Wikipedia:Votes_for_deletion/Speakeasy_Comics

  1. You had no idea what you were talking about and trying to delete. Since the demise of Crossgen Comics, Alias Comics and Speakeasy Comics are two notable new players in the US comics publishing field. Wikipedia:Contribute what you know or are willing to learn more about
  2. This one-liner stub has since then been turned into a one-pager stub.

Stop trying to kill baby articles before they even had time to grow up. Ignorant deletionist psychopaths like you are why wikipedians quit in drove every day.

WP:CP[edit]

Hi, you've reported copyright infringements to WP:CP in the last week, a new measure was recently passed to allow the speedy deltion of new pages that are cut and paste copyvios. Please follow these instructions if you come across this type of copyvio. Thanks. --nixie 00:14, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Blatant copyright infringements may now be "speedied"

If an article and all its revisions are unquestionably copied from the website of a commercial content provider and there is no assertion of permission, ownership or fair use and none seems likely, and the article is less than 48 hours old, it may be speedily deleted. See CSD A8 for full conditions.

After notifying the uploading editor by using wording similar to:

{{nothanks-sd|pg=page name|url=url of source}} -- ~~~~

Blank the page and replace the text with

{{db-copyvio|url=url of source}}

to the article in question, leaving the content visible. An administrator will examine the article and decide whether to speedily delete it or not.
