Watching the DVD, doing a summary of it for its article. This shouldn't be in that article, but should be in IYHML. "I was very excited about the first video. My new nickname for her is Crazy Eyes, lol. I find it a bit cheesy that a 1994 storyline is only coming to the surface now but as long as it destroys Phyllis's world then I'm all for it! Maybe we can finally say bye-bye to Phick and hello again to Shick maybe!! No offense to your fave but Sharon is now my least fave character. Hey, I've added a ton of sources to my Eden sandbox, including an interview I found from last November, which Christian LeBlanc was included in too so I added his part to his article. I've got good casting sources and also added some more info to her past portrayers as well. I think we're good! Cleaned up the storyline too, so if now you can just look for some good Ronan sources that'd be great! Also if you didn't see I also found some good Sharon sources if you need. I did have in the text before but moved it. Where do you think it should go, in characterization? And about the 2001-04, 2010, I moved it back because I was at the time in process of adding things and that was helping me organize my thought process. I'll move it soon. We all still have hope for Shick. Do you know what broke them up for the last time in November 2010? I know it had to do with Adam but that's all I know. I'm interested to see what storylines will take place now that MAB is leaving. Maybe with a former ABC executive producer the soap will take shape. Yes, it is nice to see Jack and Nikki married. I wonder when Jill Farren Phelps/Josh Griffith first episodes will air. I don't feel sorry for Sharon, she's an idiot who needs serious help. Look at her history, happy marriage to Nick for the most part despite his affair with Grace and hers with Diego, then Cassie died and the marriage fell apart and Nick went to Phyllis. Sharon was smart enough to divorce his ass, then she romanced Jack and they married, even though they were an awful couple. When the marriage wasn't working for her she slept with Nick, resulting in Faith. Then she went kleptomaniac on everyone when Nick went back to Phyllis, she fell in love with Adam blah blah blah, and then she was going to remarry Nick but she messed it up with Adam. OLTL was always the worst for me. Never enjoyed it a day in my life tbh. And no, not all time, but he is currently my favorite character since like late 2009–early 2010. My fave soap character/actress of all-time is Susan Flannery as Stephanie Forrester. I will love her till the day I die. I also loved Amber Moore during her first seven-year run but she kinda lost it for me when she came back in 2010. I agree, ATWT kinda lost it after 2005, but 2009–10 was awesome for me. I will never have a bad thing to say about GL. It was good from 2000–09, the only time I wasn't satisfied with it was maybe the winter of 1996–97. OMG it was terrible. If you wanna be honest here the last season (2011-12) of it was better than 1968–2012 combined. For those who stuck with AMC after 2005 perhaps it was a loss. I saw what you added to the Gen sandbox, however, from what I was told at the beginning of this year, "fan sites," such as SoapCentral and She Knows Soaps, cannot be used to source storylines; they can only be used for news purposes. You can use daily/weekly/monthly updates from TheYoungandtheRestless.com or daily recaps from CBS.com to source storylines. I'm removing them for now. soap-central and she knows soaps aren't fansites. They are the same a MichaelFairman and Daytime Confidential which are reliable. They are good third party sources. They have cast interviews and news. They are run by soap journalists, etc, not fans. A fansite would be something like this. Also, we shouldn't try too much to use their official website, but stick to third party sources. I would like to continue MF's way of sourcing storylines, but just not with their official website. The Drucilla storyline is shocking, I'm not going to trim that. I'm just going to revert it back to how it was before. You love Yvonne Zima? Seriously? I'm kinda glad Daisy is back just because she can really get under people's skin (particularly Phyllis) so that's fun. Actually, since her return last week I've been kinda on the fence about Yvonne. I hated her in 2011 and I hated her when she got out of prison and took Lucy back, but now I've kinda gotten used to her. Not saying I like her, but I don't dislike her, you know? TBH I don't really care about Debbi Morgan being gone, that was a sensible budget cut. It took almost a year to spark a relationship with Neil, which I'd been wanting since last November. Lack of storyline equals get the hell out! I really hope they don't recast Abby. She should just leave for a while. If anyone else should be let go it should be Julia Pace Mitchell!! OMG just leave already! I was so happy when she said she was going to New York but then she stayed. She's a real bore-fest, I don't even watch her scenes anymore. LOL. Debbi Morgan isn't a huge loss...but Genie Francis is. Honestly, they don't know what they are doing. Genevieve has been excellent. It's hard to introduce a new character and actress but Genie was amazing and still is. Neil is boring to me...unless Drucilla comes back, his relationships are always boring to me. OMG IKR! I hate Sofia! She is so stupid and the most boring character EVERR! They should have atleast gotten rid of her and put Genie Francis on recurring.. Abby can't be recast anytime soon Lol..Rylan has really left her mark on the role. I just hope the new regime know what they are doing. Yes!!! If anything when the changes take place I would like to see a Phick divorce and a Phyllis/Jack reunion. 2006-07 was good from what I've watched/read, but I hated Nick with long hair. Wasn't Lynn Marie Latham just as bad as MAB? That's what people say. Yeah, even up until last year Michael/Lauren had some storylines. But what we really need is more of Max Ehrich as Fen. He's made like four appearances since June and the actor's terrible, but we at least need more of him. I've warmed up to Lindsay Bushman, however. Summer's character is great! She's basically a younger Phyllis but she's too stupid to see that, lol. I find Gen's character was losing it a little, no fault to Genie Francis. But from where she is now I don't know how she'll exit. And if Debbi Morgan only tapes her final scenes on October 5, then that means she'll still be around onscreen until end of October to early November. Well when the show wasn't in her hands, it wasn't a total trainwreck. MAB is so annoying. She said being head-writer/executive producer is like being a kid in a candy shop..WTF?! Is she serious? Yea it is nice, but you are a writer, writing for the top-rated daytime drama and need to be reasonable. I need to see more Michael/Lauren...omgg nooo Fen and Summer need to be de-aged! Lol! It's so stupid. Summer is such a bitch, and is very irritating. I don't like the actress' portrayal either tbh. Summer and Fen should atleast be 10..NOT 15. That's basically saying Nick and Phyllis had Summer in 1997? LOL! What does that make Noah? 25? and what does it make Cassie? 30? When Sharon/Nick are between 35-40? God. Well, they won't be de-aged now, that's for sure. SORAS is dumb, for sure. In my opinion, they should've just rapidly aged Kyle when he returned with Diane in October 2010. That would've made more sense than having Garrett Ryan for two years. But I love Blake Hood in the role. Yeah, maybe pre-teen Summer and Fen would've been better, more like Molly Lansing's age on GH. I don't know, I just kinda like Lindsay Bushman as Summer. I know she's a bitch, but let's face it, she's Phyllis' daughter. OMG, Max Ehrich. No, just no. Awful actor. He should've never been cast and Fen should've never became a teenager. But I guess they kinda had to, they were already doing Summer so they had to do Fen (Fen was born two months before Summer). With Robert Adamson assuming Noah, he will probably be 25. Kevin Schmidt was 23, and that was how old Noah was stated to be in 2011. If Cassie had never died, she probably wouldn't have been rapidly aged as Camryn Grimes was already widely recognized for the role, so she would've just continued to age naturally. I wish she would have never died. Guess we have to wait for Faith to grow up! LOL. I get it though, even though it's a soap, there has to be some reality. Abby was born in November 2000 and Kyle in January 2001, not a big difference. Kevin Schmidt was boring for me whenever I saw him. Now that's just me, I never saw anything prior to June 2011. I'm thinking Robert Adamson will put a nice spin on Noah. LOL! In 3 years Faith will probably be between 7 and 11 years old. So stupid. They might end up bringing Schmidt back, judging on what happened with Luke Kleintank. And TBH I don't think Gen will end up at B&B. If anything, she's going back to GH. I don't mind SORAS to a degree, but there has to be some real-life relevance in it. I'm sad Heather broke up with Daniel. I saw potential for them, even though Daisy would be back. What is so dumb for me right now is they're acting like the scenes revolving around "Tag N Grab" is dramatic. It's not, it's stupid as hell. The only thing I like out of that is Adam getting under Kevin's skin. And I bet when Daisy does wake up she'll have no memory, like Eden. The universe (or MAB) wants Paul in jail, clearly. Okay, I understand about the Sharon image. Letting Jennifer Landon go was a bad decision and it is a loss. She's only been on for less than five months, in the grand scheme of things, that's nothing. She was barely given a chance and I loved her compared to Eden Riegel. Christel Khalil is still in contract negotiations as of this month, no new developments on that. But from the looks of all the exits, it seems JFP has let go all alums from other soaps. Do you think she's just trying to clean up MAB's mess? Do you think JFP will be even worse than MAB? I'm betting Stephen Nichols and Darnell Williams are out next. Williams needs to go, he's a better actor than that and seeing as how they aren't developing his character more, send him on his way. I'm happy she is cleaning it out...Y&R really needs to work on it's core characters more but not overexpose them. Eden Reigel in my opinion was just awful..I didn't like her in the role (Doesn't mean i don't like the actress), and I didn't care for Jennifer Landon. I want Vail Bloom back. No, I don't like JFP is worse than MAB...she wouldn't have been hired if so. MAB took the show for granted. I don't think they'll get rid of Stephen Nichols, but Darnell Williams, yes they will. Haley King has begun taping for Summer, but I don't really care either. The only thing I enjoyed about Summer's rapid aging was that she could give some good attitude and comebacks to Phyllis. Other than that, I don't really follow. What upcoming Y&R stuff? Like storylines? As you know I don't read spoilers, so if it's spoilers regarding JFP's changes than no I haven't heard. Yeah but many writers with long-running dramas do that, even in primetime. Some have been heroines for so long they like to change things up. But I agree, what MAB did to Sharon is just unspeakable. And yes, actual villains are desperately needed. I'm kinda fed up with goody goody Adam now. I want devious sociopath Adam back!! Seriously? Rock bottom? I think Sharon was beyond rock bottom when she was in prison?! Hello?! I haven't heard anything about a Kimberlin Brown return, but how can she be alive? She had plastic surgery to look like Phyllis and then Lauren shot Sheila, not Phyllis. In a June issue of SOD there was this thing about top 10 plotlines that would "rock Y&R", and one of them was if Phyllis was really Sheila. I highly doubt the person who checked Daisy out was Sheila, if anything, it was someone else who claimed to be Daisy's mother. And the whole thing about Daisy and Ryder being the children of Sheila and Tom is ridiculous. They plotted together in 2005, meaning if she was impregnated by him she would've given birth off-screen in 2006. And then they arrive as adults in 2009 claiming to be Sheila's children? Please. That's worse than SORAS. Yes, it would be nice to see Michael/Lauren have actual storylines. But keep in mind, if MAB had incorporated them more, they'd be divorced by now. What I'd like to see from Chadam is both of them becoming superior badasses! Chelsea was once a con artist, and Adam has some experience in that area too so that'd be awesome!
