Fine...sorry —Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.21.96.12 (talk) 08:25, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

What do you put into the format parameter on CluebotIII? AirplaneProRadioChecklist 03:50, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

The format string. "Y/F" is always a good choice. More specifics are on User:ClueBot III. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 04:16, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

ClueBot and shared IP addresses

I'm posting it here before anyone from an IP address starts complaining and amplifying their "pain".

Perhaps after the signature, ClueBot should determine whether or not it's an IP address. If it is, it should do the following:

  • Create a new line after writing the signature.
  • Write the line
  • :''If this is a shared [[IP address]], and you didn't make the edit, consider [[Wikipedia:Why create an account?|creating an account]] for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.''

...to make the bot seem a little less bitey. Of course, do not include the "nowiki" inside it. mechamind90 06:00, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
