Some of these people-I recall ScienceApologist- are careerists; some are doubtless hired-guns å lå Israel's paid WP editors. WP was founded by a leftist entrepreneur, not a scholar, to combat the Murdochism of journalists, media, science... Cest la vie. OTOH NASA is now unable to avoid documenting huge objects visiting the sun, and other objects consistently traveling in the milli-second range of our time scale. Misty Copeland[edit]

I have noticed your comments at Talk:Misty Copeland and your malplaced comments at Talk:Misty Copeland/GA1. I have never heard the term danseuse and since it has no article on WP, it must not be that common. I know she is a soloist aspiring to be a principal. I think that is the point you are making. I have no problem with your removal of ballerina from the article for that reason. I am not so sure we should be sticking danseuse in. I am also aware that you have problems with the quality of the article. I am not a dancer. I surely befuddle, amuse, confuse and confound many readers because I write and review on many subjects outside of my expertise. I apologize for my efforts, however, something is often better than nothing. If you would like to take actions to improve the article commenting on a GA review that has been closed for 3 years is not the best way to go about things. In a recent edit to the page Fleetwood Mac, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If I may be allowed to say so. This comment doesn't come across as constructive:-

"Ravenscroft was paid £27 for the session, with a cheque that bounced." The only citation for this is some obscure thing called "Scotland on Sunday." It may be a true story but we need something a little more believable than a UK publication to back it up. What next? Will we use research from Tiger Beat? Gingermint (talk)
