December 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Muboshgu. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Jason Kessler seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:40, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Unblock[edit]

I do not feel I should've been blocked as all I did was changed my name as per the request of another user and I received an email that said my name change was approved. Then another user said I was fraudulently signing under another name where you can look on the same page where the other user requested I change my nameOogaBoogaa (talk) 04:08, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hm yes this does look to be based on a misunderstanding (we sometimes get vandals who fraudulently sign their posts). But you need to add the following text here below so that administrators will be notified of your unblock request: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}Thjarkur (talk) 19:31, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were also trolling and making threats on the Help Desk, which isn't really acceptable behavior. ST47 (talk) 23:45, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. @Orangemike:- would you object to an unblock? PhilKnight (talk) 23:42, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Threats and trolling? Could you please forward these "Threats" and trolling I did? I tried 1 time to make a change, I agreed the white supremacist were idiots. I just don't feel Kessler is. My changes were retracted, I never tried again to change it. All of my responses have been polite. Please unblock me. By keeping me blocked (as I have been polite and followed all requests) you are saying others are not entitled to have differences of opinion. That is one sided and not "Neutral". Again, please show me where I was rude or trolled or any of these accusations in any way. Lets be fair and unblock me.OogaBoogaa (talk) 20:57, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm actually concerned about this edit. Please read Verifiability, not truth. Wikipedia does not claim to publish the "truth", only what can be verified. What is it that you actually want to edit about if unblocked? 331dot (talk) 19:42, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As long as I'm here, please relate the following statement to you editing-- As Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, "all content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking."-- Deepfriedokra 12:24, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If it's this big of a deal then I don't know what else to say. I was BLOCKED because someone obviously misunderstood that it was requested I change my name so I did, and Orangemike thought I was signing fraudulently. That was the reason for the BLOCK! Correct? And we determined that was not the case. I just feel I was unfairly blocked. I have nothing particular that I would like to edit but I do have some extensive knowledge of God, music, and history. May God Bless you all. Good day. OogaBoogaa (talk) 21:43, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

So I can't add that there is a new movie out with the amazing King of Pop Michael Jackson,(whom I have loved since the age of 10) about a new movie which is not noted on his page? (As well as a look alike, and other videos I know of that compare him and Fred Astaire). A movie I watched last night about the last 2 years of his life? I can contribute. You are just going to keep me blocked because I changed my name as I was asked to? This is starting to seem a little ridiculous to me.. Obviously, if I upset someone you can retract whatever I put and block me again within approximately 10 seconds. So let's go ahead and act like mature adults and start over. God says to forgive.OogaBoogaa (talk) 15:57, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This does not address the reason for your block or your threats that you have made, which are unacceptable. I am declining this request; I will give you one more chance to write an acceptable request before you might lose access to this page too. 331dot (talk) 19:35, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
