Your photos are nice, and well made. Thanks for uploading them to Commons. However, we.do not use photos in an article just to make it prettier. Any photos added to articles need to illustrate some point in the text of the article, should be placed near the content the photo illustrates and should also expand the reader's knowledge of the information better than words. I wrote the above after removing your photo from Hidden Springs, Idaho. I've since also removed your photo from Veterans Memorial Park (Boise, Idaho). I must again compliment your skills. Those are both beautiful photos. However, the style of photography needed in articles are more journalistic than artistic. Photos in Wikipedia are used to convey facts, not evoke emotion. It's a good idea for new editors to use WP:AFC for their first few articles - that way a reviewer will look over the article and explain how to improve it before it is allowed to go live in the mainspace. All articles must be notable in their own right see WP:Notability which explains the different types of notability, say for a place, an actor or a politician for example. The article must be referenced to reliable third party sources (see WP:RS) that are independent of the subject. For how to add sources see WP:Citing sources. Read those few suggestions and you should be prepared to add an article that will stand up to scrutiny and Wikipedia policies. El_C thank you again for your support!! This is pretty much the first time someone has thanked me on Wikipedia for contributing photos. I just want to make sure my photos will not continue to automatically be deleted, and that Magnolia677 will not request to have me banned from Wikipedia. If I can continue to contribute photos, I have many photos I'd be happy to contribute to pages!

I couldn't agree more! I tried adding a photo of Hurricane Ridge at Olympic National Park to the Washington (state) page yesterday, but it was taken off. If it really isn't needed on the page, I understand why it was taken off. Anyhow, I have some photos of Hurricane Ridge and Hoh National Forest I'm excited to try adding to some pages!
Whatever the reasoning was behind the removal of File:Hurrican Ridge, Olympic National Park, July 2019.jpg from the Washington (state) article — I, for one, don't really get it. Except, I guess, folks tend to be super-picky about images in articles about countries and US states. Anyway, another great photograph! I just... wish I was there right now, at Hurrican Ridge. That would be quite awesome El C!! I just want to say thank you again for helping to flip around my situation on Wikipedia. I now have a better understanding of the wonderful people like yourself who help volunteer to run this website.

Blush-blush! Anyway, Richard, if I can offer you some advise about adding your images to articles. I'd recommend you try finding articles that have few to no images (and maybe even create such articles yourself, if you're so inclined). And if someone removes an image you've added, don't fight over restoring it, or some may go on to accuse you of have having a conflict of interest by virtue of you being the actual photographer. The thing about really high-profile articles, like about a US state, or even just a national park, is that they've been perfected for so many years, including images and their placements, that they're a bit resistant to change. So, probably best not to overly-insist when rejected (even though rejection always sucks), but to just move on to a different page. Hopefully, eventually, you'll just earn a reputation here as a preeminent nature photography contributor whose images editors make a point to seek, for various articles. I can totally see that happening. But a great deal patience is an an absolute must, just because Wikipedia does have such a steep learning curve. Welcome again! I hear you. That much is true, but what if the article for a U.S. state is not perfected? I do have photos on the pages of multiple U.S. states. I tried adding a photo to the Washington (state) page of Washington State University because there were no photos for the section about the state's universities, and the state of Washington has some good ones.
I do not try to get into edit warring over putting photos on one specific page, which is how people tried describing me in the discussion page. To help explain, this only happened with Magnolia677 because they were removing my photos for reasons editors never actually remove my photos for. That is why I reached out today, there was something off about that editor's behavior yesterday when they removed my photos.
I understand the concern that I'm only putting photos on notable pages for my personal gain to advertise my photography, and I will keep in mind to be more careful about that now. I appreciate and understand your concern, and I'm sorry if I sound defensive.

Honestly, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit, but short of just becoming mesmerized by your photographs, I wasn't actually able to spare the time to investigate your dispute (not to mention your contribution history, overall) that closely, so the above may have been a bit of a hit-and-miss, scattershot advise. The key thing, I think, is to try to aim for getting consensus for your preferred changes, because that's how decision-making ultimately works on Wikipedia. Sacajawea Statue Photo[edit]

Hey El C! Over on Wikimedia Commons someone has nominated the photo of the Sacajawea statue you liked for deletion. The photo was taken at a public place, the Sacajawea Interpretive Center. Do you know if there's a way to stop this photo from being deleted? While I'm not active on commons anymore (used to add chippies there years back), it is my understanding there is a legal reason for this, which is that it fails the "Artworks and sculptures" section in US law on Freedom of Panorama.
