San Andreas (film) edit[edit]

Hiya! I wanted to let you know a bit regarding your edit with San Andreas (film). It was definitely in good faith and looked clean from the surface, but it went wrong. Usually when we add a template for disambiguation, we use something called the About template, where you can implement less required words and let the thing run independently without messing up the lead section.

You can tell one of two differences between a template an attempted text replication of it, the first being the alignment of the sentence. I don't know what made you decide not to use one, but the second is that with this text being positioned as the first in the lead section, it messes up the hover displays leading to the article. I noticed something wrong when I read the "template" instead of the first lead paragraph, which is the intended info.

I fixed it up pretty quickly (and some other stuff of course), but I wanna let you know about the importance and convenience of templates in future edits. If you feel the need to use one, you likely may be inspired by seeing a template from another article. If so, try to find that template or article and copy it, then modify the copy with details for the article you're editing. Cheers. Carlinal (talk) 06:11, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know! I will make sure to use templates in the future. Glenn984 (talk) 14:49, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
