File copyright problem with File:Chitra Rabindranath Tagore.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Chitra Rabindranath Tagore.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 08:39, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading the same image numerous times without supplying the necessary copyright information is wasting your time and makes no difference to the original problem. Each image must have a copyright tag applied. ww2censor (talk) 08:46, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Fourteen Alice Gerstenberg.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Fourteen Alice Gerstenberg.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Chitra Rabindranath Tagore.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Chitra Rabindranath Tagore.jpg, which you've attributed to http://i43.tower.com/images/mm100562708/chitra-play-in-one-act-rabindranath-tagore-paperback-cover-art.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 21:31, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Constantly reuploading the same image is totally unnecessary, please stop as it does no good. You just need to fix the problem by editing the information on the image page with the correct information. I see you have now claimed the image is a non-free book cover, which is probably an ok tag for the play. For non-free images to be allowed they must be in article about that book and it must be a mainspace article not a sandbox page which is what your is. If you wait until the article is ready for mainspace then add the appropriate non-free copyright tag plus you MUST also have a fully filled in fair-use rationale preferably using the {{Non-free use rationale}} template shown on that page. BTW, it looks like you are quoting large passages from copyrighted reviews. This is not allowed as it is a copyright violation unless they are freely licenced, however a small occasional quoted extract would be. We take all copyright issues very seriously and err on the side of caution in this regard, so you will likely have to trim much of those review extracts down to one or two succinct sentence. Hope that helps. ww2censor (talk) 08:57, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Chitra Rabindranath Tagore.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Chitra Rabindranath Tagore.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 00:49, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, User:Playdramabuff/Teen Angel[edit]

Hello Playdramabuff. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Teen Angel".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:Playdramabuff/Teen Angel}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 13:59, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
