Scanned images

Tough question. I believe scanned content is allowed, but I've never done it personally, and I can't find a guideline among WP's plethora of image policy pages. I've sought expert advice here. Let's watch and wait. - Draeco (talk) 14:35, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

I'm not quite sure what you're asking in your latest question...could you clarify? Based on examples 6 and 8 under unacceptable uses/Images, I'm guessing most of your scanned images will not be permissible unless your article is about the subject itself. For example, a scanned newspaper from September 11th, 2001 would only be okay if you were discussing that particular newspaper article, not just using the picture as an illustration of 9/11. - Draeco (talk) 01:21, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
