Notes for article talk page etiquette:[edit]

  • All Wikipedia users are expected to be polite, welcoming to new editors, and assume good faith. If at any time you do not feel comfortable please do not hesitate to contact your instructors.
  • When communicating on the talk pages, always reply under the previous comment.
  • NOTE: The talk page is not the place to share your Wikipedia course assignment responses. Please be brief on the talk page and share your exact edits only. I.e., "We propose to improve the section on diagnosis with high quality sources" is NOT sufficient. Please see ideas below for how to describe your specific proposed article improvements.
  • When replying to a comment, indent your reply using a colon at the start of your message. The next person to reply would indent further using two colon, then three colons, etc.
  • All new topic go at the bottom of the page
  • Be sure to be logged in while posting and sign your post (with 4 x ~)

Template: Examples of proposed changes. Please modify to fit your proposed improvement[edit]

Hello, we are a group of medical students editing this page as part of our class assignment. We have compiled a list of suggestions to improve this article and would appreciate community feedback before we proceed with these edits. Here is a list of our suggestions:

We propose to insert the following content into the Peanut Allergy#Diagnosis section: (quote sentence you plan to add, please remember to paraphrase, no direct quotes permitted). (note: use the PMID tool to insert your reference)

After consulting with MEDMOS we propose to make the following changes to the structure of the article (order of evidence, heading name changes, remove a section, etc)

We propose to create a section called Signs and Symptoms. Our proposed paragraph is as follows: xxx

We noticed that reference # 35 is a primary source/outdated/a weak journal article or weak textbook and the proceeding sentence is not supported by a stronger source. We could not find any WP:MEDRS sources that can be used as a replacement, so we propose to remove reference 35 and the evidence or information shared from it (quote sentence you propose to remove).

Please refrain from sharing assignment questions and content that are not directly related to the text and citations you wish to add to the article.

You can close your talk page post with a polite note of "thanks" and let the community know that you are appreciate their time and welcome any feedback or suggestions that they may have.
