Welcome to the Light novels task force! We are a group dedicated to creating and improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to light novels. This task force is a joint project of Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga and novels. To indicate that an article falls within the scope of this work group, please add "|light-novel-task-force=" to {{WikiProject Anime and manga}}". For example, {{WikiProject Anime and manga|light-novel-task-force=yes}}. You can also add this to the talk page of images, categories, and templates.

If you would like to participate, add yourself to the members section of this page. Help out by editing light novel-related articles, making positive changes towards the goals outlined, or contributing to the discussion on one of our related talk pages. If you would like to add some suggestions, ask on the talk page.

As this project falls under the scope of both the anime and manga and novel WikiProjects, the guidelines for anime and manga related articles can be found at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Anime- and manga-related articles and novel-related articles can be found at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Novels.

In addition to the usual policies and guidelines, please make sure you understand the specific guidelines related to anime and manga-related articles, as well as film-related articles. Also make sure you are familiar with:

Scope and goals[edit]

Mission statement[edit]

The goal of the light novel task force is to organize, clean, and improve light novel-related articles information within a format that fits Wikipedia's fictional procedures to, ultimately, the level of quality stressed in the Featured Article and Featured List guidelines.

Scope[edit]

Currently, this task force covers the following items:

  1. Anyone affiliated with the concept of light novels, including the musicians, casts, and crews of every light novel adaptation.
  2. Anything located within a light novel or light novel-affiliated category, sub-category, list, article, stub, or template.

Goals[edit]

  • Ensure that all light novel-related articles are clean, organized, well-written, and accessible.
  • Improve all light novel-related articles to at least good article, featured article, and/or featured list status.
  • Create new articles relating to light novel, as long as they are encyclopedic and adhere to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
