F.E.A.R. (computer game)[edit]

A fairly recent game which has garnered praise both by gamers and reviewers alike. The article has recently received a "B-Class" assessment and is in need of extra input for further enhancements. Some possible issues to be evaluated: 1) does the article require more references? If yes, what needs to be referenced? 2) does the current layout of the paragraphs suit well the article, both in terms of "aesthetics" and clearness for a reader? 3) are there any gaps/missing elements that should be expanded/added? is there any section that should be trimmed? 4) is the english text good enough? 5) NPOV or copyright issues? — Berserker79 10:21, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • 1) Sources- The Gamespot award needs a source, for starters.
  • 2) Yes, except for the weapons section, see below.
  • 3) I think that the weapons section needs to be substantially trimmed, or deleted. It's a huge chink in the middle of the article, and is slightly game-guidey, though good job on keeping that down.
  • 4) Yes, I think so.
  • 5) None that I saw.

  • Thank you PresN for clearing possible issues regarding questions 4 and 5. As for the missing ref I've just added it, it had probably slipped unnoticed until now... If you come across other senteces that require a ref, please do not hesisate to report them. The weapons section is somewhat problematic: the weapons page has been nominated for deletion (something which is quite likely going to happen). I've tryed to salvage the best contents of that article, but apparently the large table does not look too good, does it? What about trimming the descriptions? e.g. the pistol's description could be: "The player's first weapon. The HP-14 pistol can also be dual-wielded.", and the rest trimmed down like that to a simple "the XYZ is a <<this kind of weapon>>". — Berserker79 08:59, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
