Conference (Designer)[edit]

Hello, WikiProject Grey's Anatomy administrative board members. As you know, our designer (Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk)) has not been performing his duties in a timely manner. Three warnings have been given to Jonathan by our secretary (Sofffie7 (talk)). The first warning was responded to, and Jonathan performed the duties. However, the duties have not been completed in two weeks now, despite two recent reminders from Sofffie. As stated in the 'mission statement' of the administrative board, we need to have a conference when duties are not being completed. Four options have been proposed, to try to find the most appropriate form of action. Sofffie, TBrandley (monitor), and TRLIJC19 (coordinator), please sign three tildes, not four, under each option, with a number in parentheses following your three tildes. For example, if option 2 is your favorite, sign your three tildes under that option, and write (1) after your three tildes. Then, your second choice, write (2) after your three tildes, and so on.

  • Option 1: Jonathan is placed on probation, and will have to complete his responsibilities at least once a week. If this probation is broken, we will issue Jonathan an option from below.
    • TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) (2) : Though I feel this will not really help enforce the duties, it seems like a reasonable remedy.
    • TBrandley (1) - I feel that this will help/force the user to help out more as designer. If not, we always have the below.
    • Sofffie7 (talk) (1): It the first time we face such a problem so let's try the first option, and hopefully the fact of being placed on probation will encourage him to do his duties. I think it's enough for now.
  • Option 2: Jonathan is temporarily removed from the board for one month, as a disciplinary repercussion. During his absence, a new board member will serve as the temporary designer. After one month, Jonathan will be placed back on the board, with no probations or special circumstances.
    • TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) (1) : Jonathan has been issued several warnings, and I feel a probation would just end with removal from the board. A repercussion will help enforce.
    • TBrandley (2): This will help the user learn, so this may be good; also per Joey.
    • Sofffie7 (talk) (2): If the problem happens again then this should be the next step.
  • Option 3: Jonathan is removed from the board, with the ability to reapply in three months. If placed back on the board, no probations or special circumstances will exist.
    • TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) (3) : The only time I feel we would need to do this, is if he still didn't perform the duties after a temporary removal.
    • TBrandley (3): per Joey.
    • Sofffie7 (talk) (3): Way too soon now. I'm sure we won't have to go this far.
  • Option 4: Jonathan is permanently removed from the board, and will not be allowed to reapply. However, if this option is implemented, Jonathan can request a reconsideration in six months, and every six months thereafter.
    • TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) (4) : Absolute last choice that I think should only be used if all the above proposals do not work.
    • TBrandley (4): If nothing else works, yeah.
    • Sofffie7 (talk) (4): Per TRLIJC19.

If you would like to alter any option, or propose a new one, please discuss it below:

  • Discussion:
  • Result: Option 1, Okay, the clear result is the implementation of option one, with later implementations of options two, three, and four, if the probation is broken.

Newsletters, recent happenings, and more[edit]

Hi guys. So here's the thing. The newsletters are a real hassle to write, and when doing them weekly, there is usually not much to write about. I was thinking that newsletters on the last Friday of the month would be a better idea. The same goes for recent happenings—there is not always something happening. The monthly newsletter could first recognize the month's accomplishments, and then explain the goals for the next month. And the good thing about them being on a Friday is that I can mention Thursday's episode! I also propose that Jonathan be taken off of probation. He's certainly regained my trust, and I think he's learned his lesson. I would appreciate everyone's thoughts on everything. TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 21:26, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Newsletter opinion:
    • Yes I think sending a monthly newsletter would be better because now since we're all back to school, we have less time to develop articles so there's no point of sending a newsletter when nothing new has happened, lol. Question: what would you mention about the Thursday's episode? That it aired? --Sofffie7 (talk) 10:49, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • Glad to see that you agree about the newsletter. Lol, for mentioning the episode, I would just say "what a great episode" or something. TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 15:21, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Recent happenings opinion:
    • I think that when something new happens it should be mentioned in the section very quickly. Why wait a month to note it? By the way, I've never understood what the difference is between 'Recent happenings' and 'announcements'. A few weeks ago, those two sections were quite similar and now the 'announcements' is empty... --Sofffie7 (talk) 10:49, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • 'Announcements' is updated by a bot, and lists promotions, nominations, AFDs, etc. 'Recent happenings' is for things that don't get picked up by the bot (new pages, quality changes, project changes, etc.) I see your point, and agree that 'Recent happenings' should be updated whenever feasible. TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 15:21, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • End of Jonathan's probation:
    • Sure, no problem for me =) . --Sofffie7 (talk) 10:49, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • Great, I'll await Tate's and Jonathan's responses before proceeding with anything. TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 15:21, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notification[edit]

This is a notification that I've appointed Sofffie7 to act as interim coordinator during my scheduled wikibreak. Please adjust to this change, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 21:13, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
