William Shelford

William ("Bill") Thomas Cornelius Shelford (born 1943) is a Deputy Lieutenant for East Sussex.[1][2] He was the 2009/2010 High Sheriff of East Sussex.[3] He was previously the Senior Partner of CMS Cameron McKenna[4] and before that he was a specialist in Property Law. He is Chairman of Chailey Heritage School[5] and a Trustee of Chailey Heritage Foundation.[6][7][8]

He was educated at Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford where he studied Law.[7]

He is the son of Cornelius W. ("Corny") Shelford and has a wife called Annette.
