Ankara Center for Crisis and Policy Studies (ANKASAM) was established in 2017 as part of the International Amity Cooperation and Strategy Research Association (UDISAD). ANKASAM is recognized within Turkey for its significant contributions to research and analysis in crisis management, international relations, and social sciences.

ANKASAM comprises a team of academics, analysts, strategists, experts, media professionals, and intellectuals dedicated to studying economic, political, and social dynamics within the international system. The think tank's focus includes analyzing global crises and developing policy recommendations aimed at addressing complex challenges.

ANKASAM prioritizes the identification and analysis of risks and threats arising from power-centric economic, political, and social crises at the international level. The think tank is committed to offering insights and potential solutions based on rigorous research and objective analysis.

ANKASAM is on the global list of “Open Think Tank Directory” since 2023.[1]

It organizes seminars, brainstorms, panels and conferences aiming to raise Türkiye to a more effective position on a regional and global scale with comprehensive analyses, articles, reports and other studies prepared based on scientific and objectivity. ANKASAM also actively contributes to large-scale academic events, discussion platforms, panels and other activities at national and international levels.

Furthermore, the website www.theasiatoday.org  which aims to convey the current developments in the Asian continent with the slogan “The Invisible Face of Asia”, has started its activities in English and Russian as of July 2021. This website is the FIRST and ONLY publication site in Türkiye that broadcasts in English and Russian on Asia.
