Detective Hole is an upcoming Netflix crime drama series, Ana adoration of the Jo Nesbo detective series.

Production[edit]

Jo Nesbo is adapting the series themselves, with the first season based on Nesbo’s novel The Devil’s Star, the fifth in his Harry Hole series. Working Title are producing the series for Netflix, with Oystein Karlsen as director. Tor Arne Øvrebø is producing while executive producers are Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Katy Rozelle, Rene Ezra, Øystein Karlsen, Jo Nesbø and Niclas Salomonsson.^[1]

In May 2024, Tobias Santelmann was announced in the lead role with Joel Kinnaman playing Tom Waaler and Pia Tjelta as Rakel Fauke.^[2]

Principal photography began on May 23 in Oslo.^[3]
