In particular, she focuses on the influence of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on the countries of the former Yugoslavia, and on the reproduction of historical narratives in textbooks.

Another line of her research deals with gender equality in science, the position of female scientists from socialism to the present, and the inclusion of the gender dimension in research.
