Ball's first on air experience was on New England Sports Network (NESN) in 2018 for their Dirty Water TV night life show. The following fall, Ball made his on air ESPN debut as a color commentator for Boston University soccer.

In the spring of 2021, Ball launched The Lev & Marques Show, a sports, business, and entertainment podcast which he co-hosted with former NFL player Marques Ogden.[4]The podcast featured interviews with top athletes and entertainers and also provided interview guests the opportunity to promote their business ventures. One of the first guests on the podcast was former Pro Bowl NFL running back and Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George, who appeared on the show to promote his new business venture called SportsCast.[5]The Lev & Marques Show was able to reach the top 1.5% of most popular podcasts worldwide before ceasing operations.[6]

After The Lev & Marques Show shut down, Ball launched a solo podcast called The Leverett Ball Show,[7] while also continuing his on air TV work on ESPN.
