[edit]

What am I doing wrong? All I'm trying to do is record a historical structure that has been lost to time by documenting the truth citing resources. I have complied with previous denials and removed requested content (even though I strongly disagreed). What is wrong now? The reviewer is not being specific enough and based on what I'm understanding, I disagree.

Please explain.

As an uninvolved editor who found this in Category:promising draft articles, I disagree with the reviewers. The draft presents both positive and negative details about the former hotel, and the only promotional content I can find is "The celebration had great fanfare and nearly every guest room booked" and "Anyone could subscribe to an annual membership which entitled use of the year-around swimming pool"; neither of these are very severe. However, one definite problem is the lack of a lead section. If a good, properly summarising lead is added, the draft is ready for mainspace IMO. Glades12 (talk) 10:14, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is also a lack of context; that is, the draft does very little to introduce this subject to someone who knows nothing about it. I have tagged the page with {{context}} and {{no lead}} to help address these two issues. The first reviewer also notes that there is too much of a focus on minor events compared to ones of more weight, but that is not big enough of a problem to keep this in draftspace.
