English: Kakanin or Pinoy Rice Cakes are well loved pinoy snacks that is popular anywhere in the Philippines. It has a distinct color, taste and texture that are all unique depending on the province it was made. Made with milled glutinous rice, molded and filled with different ingredients such as sweetened beans, condensed milk, cheese, chocolates etc.
Tagalog: Ang Kakanin ay isa sa pinaka kilalang pagkain sa Pilipinas. Isa itong pagkain na gawa sa giniling na malagkit na bigas na pinapalamanan at hinahaluan ng ibat ibang pampalasa at lahok para mas lalong sumarap. Bawat probinsya sa bansa ay may kanya kanyang angking kakanin na sadya namang babalik balikan. |
