English: A GMC C8500 Crew Cab road-rail truck owned by the Staten Island Railway with a maintenance crew working on the St. George-bound tracks as seen from the Tottenville-bound platform at the Pleasant Plains Staten Island Railway station in the Pleasant Plains section of Staten Island, New York City. Evidently, this truck is used by a group called the "M16 Rail Welders." Much of the southern SIR Main Line was closed for repairs that day, so trains were going in both directions along the Tottenville-bound tracks on that part of the island. Luckily, it gave me the opportunity to take shots like this.
