Description
Deutsch: Selbstbildnis. Das Bild zeigt die sechzigjährige Malerin am offenen Fenster sitzend, den Blick von der Lektüre erhoben und zum Betrachter gewandt. Sie trägt ein violettes Seidenkleid mit weißem Überwurf und vor ihrem rechten Auge ein dunkel umrandetes Einglas. Im Hintergrund steht eine Staffelei mit einem Gemälde und auf der Sohlbank eine Skizzenmappe sowie ein Früchtekorb. Begrenzend tritt der gemalte, steinerne Fensterrahmen hervor.
