Summary

Description

This is a GER W class 2-2-2 designed by Sinclair and built between 1862 and 1867. Thirty one were built and several were rebuilt and converted to 4-2-2s between 1872 and 1873. The class were all withdrawn by 1894

This photo was taken from an old original photo we came across while helping to clear the house of a deceased friend. I have uploaded it to Flickr in the hope that it might be interesting to steam enthusiasts.
