Summary

Description
English: Reverend Nick Miles, Tecumseh Red Cloud, Pamunkey Tribe, performs a closing chant at a naming ceremony for 2014 MU69, a celestial body discovered by the New Horizons mission and Hubble Space Telescope, formerly nicknamed “Ultima Thule”, Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, at NASA Headquarters in Washington. The new name, “Arrokoth,” means “sky” and is from the Algonquian Languages, spoken by the Powhatan tribes of the region of Maryland it was discovered in.
