Summary

Description
English: Native American fish trap or weir, made of tree branches near Eastport, Maine USA, taken on July 21, 2021. A straight line of branches reaches out from the shore to lead fish swimming upstream into the circular trap. As this is out-of-season, a cut has been made on the outer edge of the trap to let trapped fish out.

NOTE: This image is a panorama of a Native American fish trap consisting of 6 frames that were merged or stitched in Lightroom. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.
