Description231017j Govan-Partick Bridge works from Glenlee, Hebo-Lift 10, tugs Avontuur 2 and Elisa.jpg
English: View from The Tall Ship Glenlee, moored at Pointhouse Quay adjacent to the Riverside Museum, of the Govan-Partick Bridge works area at Yorkhill Quay. The bridge was built in Belgium and towed on pontoon Hebo-P84 to Glasgow by tug Elisa (IMO 9688879). They arrived on 14 October 2023 at Yorkhill Quay (adjacent to the museum car park), and moored just past the floating sheerleg crane Hebo-Lift 10 which was already at the quay. The crane lifted the moving main span of the bridge into place on 17 October. In the picture, tugs Avontuur 2 and Elisa are moored beside the crane, pontoon Hebo-P84 is just beyond it carrying the fixed span of the bridge, to be installed when the northern approach is ready.
