Summary

Description

stylized Durga idol by artist Sanatan Dinda at Nalini Sarkar Street, this elongated pandal occupies half the width of a narrow lane near ujjala cinema. The pandal is designed in a muted tantra style, almost reminiscent of Mayan architecture. The pratima shown here has

one leg folded reminiscent of the nataraja pose, while casually spearing a insubstantial mahishashur, while the four subsidiary goddesses have been reduced to miniatures at her feet.
