Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas A-3B Skywarrior (BuNo 147649) from Heavy Attack Squadron 8 (VAH-8) "Fireballers" dropping a 227 kg (500 lbs) bomb over North Vietnam, 19 August 1965. VAH-8 was assigned to Attack Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41) for a deployment to Vietnam from 6 March to 23 November 1965.
