English: A dolphin lamp standard on Tweed Bridge, Peebles The original 15th century bridge has been much altered and repaired over the years, and until the 18th century it was the only bridge over the Tweed above Kelso. The dolphin lamp standards on the bridge date from works carried out in 1900. The foot bridge in the background is Priorsford Bridge. The sign on the parapet reads:-
