Description
English: Airshow; Kyle Franklin strikes a pose during his wing walking routine on the top wing of a jet-powered Waco bi-plane, flown by his father, Jimmy Franklin, during the 2005 Coastal Carolina Air Show in Wilmington, N.C. The 1940 Waco bi-plane is fitted with a T-38 Talon J-85 jet engine along with the 450 horsepower Pratt & Whitney radial prop engine. With both engines turning the Jet Waco puts out over 4,500 pounds of thrust at over 2,000 horsepower. This year's air show showcased civilian and military aircraft from the Nation's armed forces, which provided many flight demonstrations and static displays.
