Summary

Description
English: Drawings of different types of watch and chronometer balance springs. Types: (1) flat spiral, including central collet and end stud, (2) Breguet overcoil, (3) chronometer helix, with axial view showing Breguet end curves, (4) early forms. The early springs are from Nelthropp, others are from Britten. Alterations: combined source images into a composite, removed captions and part labels, scaled and rotated Nelthropp image to match others, added new labels in color, converted to PNG.
