This is a scan of a portion of a postage stamp issued in 1919, and therefore in the public domain in the United States. The scan was taken from the image in J.Ceresa, The Postage Stamps of Russia, 1917-1923, Vol. 4, Transcaucasia, Parts 13-16, British Occupation of Batum, Section A, page 26. Since the stamp is public domain, the two dimensional image of it also has no copyright claim and is public domain.
