Description
Deutsch: Die Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche in der Annenstraße 52-53 in Berlin-Mitte, nach dem Standort auch als Annenkirche bezeichnet. Sie wurde von 1855-1857 nach einem Entwurf von Hermann Blankenstein errichtet. Bis 1889 wurden eine Schule, ein Predigerhaus und ein Lehrer- und Wohngebäude angefügt. Der Schulbau wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg zerstört. Die restlichen Gebäude und die Kirche sind als Gesamtanlage denkmalgeschützt.
English: The Evangelical Lutheran Church at Annenstraße No. 52-53 in Berlin-Mitte, also called Annenkirche because of its location. The church was built from 1855 to 1857 to a design by Hermann Blankenstein. Annexes constructed until 1889 included a school building, a preacher's home, and a teacher and residential building. The school building was destroyed in WWII. The other buildings and the church have been designated as a historic landmark.
