Deutsch: Geschäftshaus in der Zimmerstraße 88-89 in Berlin-Mitte, zusammen mit dem benachbarten ehemaligen Geschäftshaus der Markthalle III früher Hauptsitz des Zentralverlags der NSDAP. Das Gebäude entstand 1940 als neues Vorderhaus eines um 1900 erbauten Geschäftshauses. Architekt war Erich Schwanz. Bis 1989 befand sich der Gebäudekomplex im Todesstreifen an der Berliner Mauer und war nicht zugänglich. Heute liegt er mitten im Berliner Galerienviertel an der Zimmerstraße und wird selbst von mehreren Galerien genutzt. Als Teil des Bauensembles Mauerstraße steht er unter Denkmalschutz. |
