DescriptionBetton Bridge at Market Drayton, Shropshire - geograph.org.uk - 1592540.jpg
English: Betton Bridge at Market Drayton, Shropshire Bridge No 63 on the Shropshire Union Canal (opened in 1835) is adjacent to Betton Mill, now converted into apartments. There are good visitor moorings on the right, before and after this bridge. Moor here to explore the town that invented Gingerbread!! (Well they have been making it since 1793 for sure. It was probably made earlier. There were already large stocks of ginger in High Street businesses in the 1640s and 1680s - info: BBC)
