English: Boundary stone, Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road, Shelf This stone, outside Spaniard Hall, is a mystery. The boundary between Shelf and Northowram runs up the centre of the main road. I have checked this back to the 1850 6in. map. The stone is not marked on that map, nor on the one of c.1940 (the bench mark to the right is marked on both).
