English: Broadgate: Great Eastern Hotel, Liverpool Street, EC2 Designed by Charles Barry, opened in 1884, extended in 1901, and the subject of a £65 million refurbishment completed in 2000, the 267 bedroom Grade II listed hotel is on the north side of Liverpool Street, at its junction with the A10 Bishopsgate. Liverpool Street station is behind the hotel in this view. The hotel was sold by Conran Holdings and others to Hyatt Hotels in 2006.
