Summary

Description

Finnish BT-42 assault gun, created by placing a turret armed with a 114 mm gun on the chasis of the Soviet BT-7 fast tank. As all the BT tanks captured by Finland were scrapped soon after 1945, this is the only surviving example of this family of tanks in any Finnish museum. Displayed in Finnish Tank Museum (Panssarimuseo) in Parola. Photo taken on July 14, 2006.
