time when the ground is destitute of foliage or
flower, it is a welcome visitor. They present the
best appearance when grown in masses in a bed
or in double or triple rows as a border for other
bulbs, for which large quantities should be used.

Chionodoxa Luciliae, a most extjuisite early
Spring flowering plant, thoroughly hardj', and
will thrive well in any soil ; flowers of a bril-
liant sky-blue color with white centre. I5c.

This is one of the prettiest early Si)ring bloom-
ing bulbs of dwarf habit, with sprays of exquisite
rich blue flowers, (lirown in masses, in conjunc-
tion with crocus, chionodoxa, and snowdroj)S, the
ertect is charming. 15c. per doz., 75c. per 1(X). If
by mail, add 15c. per 100 for postage.
SNOWDROPS.
The charming snowdrop is the flrst of all flow-
ers to herald the approach of Spring. 1 1 can fre-
(luently be seen in bloom when the ground is
white with snow, as it takes every advantage
and hastens to display its graceful snow-white
bells before Winter has disapijeared. In con-
junction with Chionodoxa and Scilla a match-
less eflect can be produced.
Single Snowdrop ( (ialanthusnivolis). Pure white
graceful bells. Early flowering. I5c. per doz.,
60c. per 100.
Double Snowdrop (G(danlhus niralis Jl. pi.).
Flowers perfectly double, pure white. I5c. per
