Description
English: In 1922, the horse tram to Sloten (Amsterdam) was updated: it was no longer pulled by horses, but by buses. To avoid misunderstanding, each bus carried a large sign reading "TRAM". This bus-pulled tramway lasted for four years, after which the rail tracks were removed and the line was replaced by an ordinary bus. This photo was taken on 21 February 1922 in the Bosboomstraat, currently Andreas Schelfhoutstraat
Andreas Schelfhoutstraat
