English: Bronze Li (cooking tripod)
  • Western Zhou Dynasty (1046 - 771 B.C.)

The belly of this cooking tripod are decorated with animal faces and an ox head with protruding eyes.

The bronze li first appeared during the Shang Dynaty, and beame popular during the Western Zhou Period, but declined during the period of the Warring States.
