Summary

Description
English: As described in a brochure published by Canon in 1978:
  • Automatic/Manual Aperture Lever - stops down the lens to the selected aperture when the exposure is taken; this can be moved anti-clockwise to lock it in place for manual diaphragm operation (for instance, when mounting on an early body with R-mount)
  • Aperture Signal Lever - transmits preset aperture to body
  • Full Aperture Signal Pin - provides the maximum aperture of the lens that is mounted
  • EE Switch Pin - signals body when the aperture ring is set to "A" (for shutter-priority autoexposure)
  • Reserved - for future use
