Technical Details / Making of this Image

  • NOTE: This image was taken on a full frame sensor at a calculated magnification ratio of 1:1.6 (0.63x) in order to retain sufficient depth of focus, explicitly including the bristles.
This roughly square crop at a magnification ratio of approx. 2.0x focusses on its mandibles, its finely detailed body, and the clipped leaf edge.
