Français : Construite en 1889 sur l'ordonnance de Monseigneur Fabre, archevêque de Montréal, la chapelle-reposoir de Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur est consacrée exclusivement à la célébration de la Fête-Dieu.
Son intérêt patrimonial tient à cette fonction particulière qui la distingue des chapelles de procession, des oratoires ou des chapelles de calvaire et qui la rend unique, à ce jour, au Québec. C'est un petit édifice élégant, élancé, au toit galbé. Ses constructeurs ont su orner ses murs de détails décoratifs qui souligne avec justesse le plan octogonal et assurent une transition heureuse entre les murs et la toiture. Cette réussite stylistique se retrouve également à l'intérieur du bâtiment où l'on reprend la plupart des détails de l'extérieur. Les éléments de son décor - modillons, colonnettes, galbe du toit - s'inspirent davantage des courants de l'architecture domestique, reflétés notamment dans la maison voisine, que de l'architecture religieuse de l'époque. Ce panneau a été dévoilé le 22 octobre 1989, à l'occasion du 100e anniversaire de la construction de la chapelle-reposoir avec la participation du Ministère des Affaires culturelles du Québec et de la Municipalité. -Source du texte: Société des études sur l'environnement bâti arca inc. la chapelle-reposoir de Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur.
